Exploring beyond the waves: Dive into our game and comics!

Welcome to Dusk Wave Arts! We are excited to introduce the key projects that define our creative universe, our digital comics The Glove, Criminal King, and Jewel Knights, and our upcoming video game Barheim!

At the heart of our creative lineup is The Glove, a webcomic that delves into the extraordinary life of Tim, a neurodivergent kid who unexpectedly wields a magical glove. This glove isn’t just any artifact but the most powerful item in the world, coveted by evil people hoping to plunge the world into chaos! Together with his friends and family, they navigate a world where the stakes couldn’t be higher. The Glove is about finding strength in one’s differences, and through Tim’s journey, we hope to inspire readers to embrace their unique qualities and recognize the power that lies within them. To celebrate 10th anniversary of the Glove, we announced that its prequel Forged of Fate is coming soon!

Set in the Nordic world of Vikings and powerful gods, Queen Yrsa has taken over every tavern in the realm–and Barheim, your tavern, is the only one left to conquer! To extinguish Queen Yrsa’s entrepreneurial reign of terror and save the realms, you must remember orders, learn new mixtures, and launch prepared drinks from the BREWCANNØN! Barheim is a brewing simulation game and a single-player time management tower defense game, where you become the Barkeep of the most famous tavern in the Norse realms! Our team has poured countless hours into designing a game that not only entertains but also tells the story of how one Barkeep (That’s you!) becomes the head of the greatest tavern of all time by staying true to herself despite external pressure and by fighting for your dreams no matter what.

Lastly, we’re thrilled to introduce our latest comic series featuring a teenage superhero duo with extraordinary powers. Nick and Jack dream of being superheroes thrashing British supervillains to a pulp! After discovering a top-secret experiment that could give them superpowers, the two boys set off a chain reaction that blows the lab to smithereens and zaps their bodies – giving their friendship crystals an eerie glow. The Jewel Knights is a funny, superhero duo with a lot to learn about themselves and their new powers who try their hardest to save the world without blowing it up along the way! Through the Jewel Knights’ adventures, we explore themes of friendship, identity, and the courage to stand up against injustice.

At Dusk Wave Arts, we’re committed to creating stories and games that resonate with our audience on a deeper level. Whether through the action-packed journey of The Glove, the boozy world of Barheim, or the thrilling exploits of the Jewel Knights, we aim to inspire and entertain. You’ll meet Nick and Jack very soon, the Jewel Knights will be released on October 2024! You can read our digital comic titles soon on Comics Immersion, where each page turn comes with audio packs that help you immerse yourself further into each unique universe. Meanwhile, Barheim is coming soon to Steam Next Fest on the 14th of October 2024.
